Hello all,

I'm not here to steal anyone away from the f4g.net domain, or rant on about why people should use UOForums as opposed to this domain, whether you decide to use either site, is entirely upto you.

My site is there for the community, not traffic, profit or anything else.

But, I would like to touch on a few points..

The same applies to UOForums, there is no complex application system or political crap to go through before getting your forum.
Forums are setup the minute I get to read the PM application (I haven't setup an application form system yet, something on my To do list)
For instance, TwoThumb came to me with the idea of setting up forums for the CoRE group (Still not 100% clear on how your CoRE group works etc) and I helped him out
I spent over 2 hours setting up demo forums, changed layouts and the like, because I believe in accomodating people who may need a place for their guilds etc.
In that time, I setup 3 categories and 27 different forums, permissions, styles and answered as any questions as I could do.
I'm on from 9am GMT to 11pm GMT (roughly) everyday, so i'm allways around to add forums or fix something that's broken.

Its big.
Its "too friendly" majority of the old posts placed and left upon the old forums here, would more than likely see a ban or a heavy warning placed upon the posters.
Being big isn't a disadvantage, least not on UOF
If people don't want to see any forum except THEIR forum, they will have that option (coming soon...).
If you goto uoforums.com, it IS a big layout and getting to the area you want (say the CoRE area) might confuse people not used to such a large forum, but there's an easy way around that, all guilds have to do, is request a "quick link", which means if you goto - www.uoforums.com/core
It'll go straight to the CoRE forums.

The "too friendly" arguement isn't valid, the reason?
To quote part of our guild application rules...

Quote:
All PUBLIC UO Guild/Town Forums must follow the UOForums rules of conduct, which are found here -> Rules of Conduct.
However, Private UO Guild/Town Forums are exempt from such rules, but...they MUST abide by the rules of our host. Which basically states...No Illegal Content.
So really, if you have a private, password protected forum, we don't care what gets posted in there, as long as it doesn't violate our host's rules.

Our public forums of course, are somewhat different
We have set rules that people must abide by, as it IS A family orientated forum
It's friendly because we have zero tolerance for those who attack posters in a disrespectful manner or signup just to cause problems.

I didn't sleep last night, so i'm probably not making much sense, hehe.
