Hmmhhhh. I think, if you're serious, you'd have to be quite sensitive with the idea. I also think that slapstick, token-comedy guilds get boring very quickly - so it'd be better as either a brief scenario or a few characters that pop up for special occasions, than a permanent guild. I know I personally would get sick of the sight of them if they were about frequently.
Lastly, I think it's very easy to THINK you're funny - but to be ACTUALLY funny is another matter. Some people just aren't, and running around in bright colours RPing that you think you're Superman doesn't make you humourous by default. Be careful who you recruit.
