There have been many rumours and much gossip,about the City of Trinsic's morales recently.
Not many have dared to pursue matters further and maybe just maybe ,whilst attention has been focussed on wars for land in the North,the City of Honour has indeed been behaving less than honorably in more ways than one.
Why do i write these things?
Well today I visited Trinsic to speak with the Duke on recent matters.
As I passed West Gate I found it surprisingly empty.I did however spot a notice posted on the gate by Commander Jurrel.
Intending to read it on my way out I headed on to the jailhouse to seek an audience with the Duke.
Hoping to pick up some of Ivan's deliciously fresh baked rolls I headed to the bakery.
Hmm ,that was empty too and all locked up.
Not even a wiff of the delicious smells that usually enticed one to step inside and sample his wares.
I felt a warning chill come over me unexpectedly,not from the winter air but more the type that makes the hair on your neck stand up.
Some thing was not right .
The cold fear that usually gripped my senses when in the presence of evil washed over me.
This was nothing new when in Trinsic but it had never felt as strong as this.
I decided to ride down by the park,there were always folk there on a Sunday morning,meeting friends or simply out to take the air.
However as I approached I heard no usual sounds of merriment,but what I did hear justified what I had been feeling,and chilled the blood in my veins.
The sound of reapers.....but here in Trinsic ? I cantered over the bridge deciding not to stable my mount straight away,and there they were
Not one but a large number and they werent alone .Stood in a row they guarded some thing behind them.
Before I could even try spot what it was I was hit so hard it knocked me off my steed.
The force of the blast threw me over the wall ,where I crawled as fast as possible towards the jail house.
It was still desserted.My only choice was to try make my way towards the healers
Amazingly I passed a lone archer mounted on a rune beetle knee deep in battle with a dragon.
After finding the healers deserted ,she aided my recovery.
I tried to assist her in controlling the beasts that were wandering all over now,but alone and with me injured we were no match.
I decided to head back home straight away and scribe this report as a form of warning to everyone .
I ran for my life as the reapers shot their poison at me as I retreated over the bridge and out the West Gate.
So what has caused this evil to spawn in Trinsic ?
How long have these infected creatures appeared here ?
There have been no reported sightings of them travelling the roads.
No reports from inside the city of any help needed.
This is some thing we cannot just ignore.
Questions need asking and answers MUST be given and given at a meeting to be called
I urge all leaders to gather together tomorrow evening [Monday 11 th Dec ] at the eighth hour.
Gates will be provided from any moongate to a neutral location
