| It is with sad news that we report that our barkeep, Thorpe Holmes has fallen ill after consuming foul ham, we hope he will recover soon. However, sadly this means we cannot open the tavern today (Wednesday December 27th 2006). We weren't able to find a suitable replacement for the evening, however if Mr. Holmes hasn't recovered until next week we should have a replacement barkeep for the day.
So from all of us at the Umbra University and the Guarding Spirit tavern, we wish you a Happy New year and hope to see you next year!
