The township of Haven was experiencing it usual buzz of daily life. Traders were selling their goods, young children played in the streets and the local men enjoyed an ale or five in the tavern. A few guardsmen were standing around near the bank and so I decided to ask if they would help me collect some food for the army. A few agreed and gathered their gear before we set off. We soon found our selves in Ilshenar where we were attacked by a swarm of harpies! The brave guardsmen soon fought off the attackers and we gathered the meat from them.
We kept on marching and soon we ended up wandering into a brigand encampment! Another battle ensued and off course the mighty warriors of Haven won yet again! We soon found that the brigands kept a small farm in the area from which we took many cattle to slaughter. We then set off back towards the closest moongate and the group handed all the meat that had been collected to me and said their farewells.
Once I had counted out the slices of meat it dawned on me that there wasn’t that much so I took up my old fishing rod and set off towards the sea with fishing on my mind!
I will deliver the food to Lord Darkion when I next see him.
