My Operations Manager can be a little ... precious about things and refuses quite often to discuss IT issues with me or run things by me before she attempts to implement them.

This wouldnt be that bad if she was IT literate in any way shape or form - sadly [or happily] she isnt.

So she decides to go and buy some software upgrades [Id have got them cheaper - my first goal 1-0] without mentioning it to me.

So offI toddle to install them and waste 20 mins tryign to get the cd-rom working on the first machine, woryoing about compatibility and troubleshooting.

I give up and then the cold harsh reality dawns on me ...



































Shes only gone and bought DVD versions for machines with no DVD drive!!!!!!!!

I can set up a DVD drive as a shared resource but these babys need to run from the disk drive
