| Chaos were Humans turned by chaotic magic like hundreds of years before the game is set. The deamons and the magic they brought with them were created in an accident by the Old Ones, which were creators of everything and they are preached too by the Slann [Lizardmen giant fat frogs].
Basically the Old ones did an oopsy with magic, that opened up like a wormhole/portal thing to a chaotic realm/dimension, they all spewed out of these northern lands and have absolutely no regard for other life. They are not so much Svagely like Orcs, but an Organised Race like the Empire
