Quick Spiderman 3 on the Wii review

Some games feel at home on the Wii controller and its a joy to play them, some games like Spiderman 3 are not and the safety strap isnt there to protect your tv and loved ones from accidents but you hurling the remote at whatever is nearest in pure frustration. I cant believe that during the 5 minutes of testing they did nobody mentioned that the controlls just dont work. To move you use the stick on the nunchuck, to swing from a web using your left hand you hold down Z and flick the nunchuck (you let go of Z to let go of the web), to move the camera you hold down the C button and move the direction stick. Now when you are swinging through the city you not only need to move but controll the camera to see where you are going and make tight turns which simply cant be done. On the 360 version when you are good you can swing through the city with ease and land on a truck that you picked out. On the Wii you would be lucky to land on the same street the truck is on. As for combat, on the 360 its just button mashing, on the Wii its just button mashing but not only are you randomly bashing buttons but also randomly waving your hands around like an epileptic kid having a fit while watching some japanese cartoon.

Dont rent, dont buy, dont get preown, dont even say yes if someone asks you if you want to borrow it just point and laugh at them instead
