Park Tax

Doing my rounds in trinsic again late in the night, looking for someone who has coins they want liberating from their purse, i came across a man wearing a kilt in the park and a defenseless looking women they looked like a good target to earn some extra coins.

I approached the man and asked him if he knew where he was, and who's garden he was standing on he told me it belonged to Trinsic but at that moment in time he was wrong, this was my garden.

And so because it belonged to me the laws there were my laws and the taxes were my taxes, and because he was standing on my garden he owed me some coins, Thirty coins to be precise.

Obviously telling by his reply he was going to be tight with his money and wasn't willing to pay his taxes, however if i was to have my way, then yes that cat was going to fly, i wasn't going to take no for an answer.

The women was quick to step forward and pay for the man, however this just opened up an opportunity to earn an extra thirty coins she had just paid her tax, and now it was his turn.

Just after i gave him his final warning he unclipped a wooden club, what did he think he was going to do with that? a warrior of my skill get defeated by a man with a club? i don't think so, a short fight ensued and i had him on the floor before he could even hit me, in fact i wouldn't call it a fight, more like public humiliation on his part, but with him down on the floor he couldn't stop me from taking the gold he owed and the women just stood there helpless.

Once i had the money i let him off the floor to stumble away and wallow in self pity but he left me with a threat, he told me to watch my back because he would be watching mine, as he walked away i saw it fit to educate him of an old drow proverb.

The pickings of the night, 60 coins not bad considering how easy they were to get.
