Moving stuff is a pain - you can use Norton Ghost to literally copy an entire disk image from one HD to another then place that HD inside new machine.

Having said that I have never succesfully managed to do this =/

Best bet is to think about what you really want on your shiny new PC and reinstall those programmes from scratch and simply port any data files over using usb2 stick or cd rom.

If you need any software disks for reinstalling pm/icq me im sure i can dig out some stuff for you =)

heh - of course im being an idiot - if youe current hd is ok and has space in it you can just stick it in your new machine perhaps as a second HD or even primary HD - you just need to install drivers in windows [whcih could be fiddly] - i recommend having your curent hd as a secondary hd in your new pc
