| Spent the night in the inn at Buccaneers Den. Was meant to go to Haven but soon realised we couldn't due to some sort of rift, or maybe a map reading error. I'll go with the rift idea. Here's how it happened.
Me and Jim set off from Trinsic in the evening yesterday, after her meeting me for a job I supposedly had. I only said I'd hope to see her again in the letter I wrote her, so she expected a job! She must have had a hard upbringing. Well. Yes she did, it was in the fighting pits of Jhelom, I forget sometimes. Anyway! We got chatting and I asked her if she wanted to do anything. She said sailing. So we opted for Haven. A nice library apparantly. I gave the map to Mr Galdukes, the tiller man of the Indomitable and we set off on course.
Soon enough Jim was in the rigging swinging to and fro like a magincian monkey. With a leather bustier on and nice blue boots. Tight leggings too. She really knows what she is doing up there. My word her legs go on forever! Anyway. Not long after, we sighted land. Land strewn with Ogres. Alive and dead ones. It didnt look like Haven put it that way. It was bloody Serpents Hold! So I Got Mr Galdukes and showed him precisely on the map where we wanted to go. I halted his rum ration for a month for that error!
On our way again And an hour passes we come to an Island we didnt recognise. We dropped anchor at its North point and armoured up. It looked thick with trees and undergrowth. Jim produced a knife from Virtue knows where, and started hacking a path for us. We eventually came to a house and hanging above the door was a sign. The Assasins Guild. It was only bloody Buccaneers Den! Rather embarrased we headed for the tavern only to be greeted by a drunken ruffian. I gave him one of my death glares and left with Jim in tow. It was dark now so we headed for the Inn.
Arriving at the Inn, I sorted out the room and Jim went to get food. She came back with stew ribs and ale. Oh and a peach! We were both famished so we wolfed it down. Now Jim isn't accustomed to ale, unlike myself! She had one sip and appeared not to like it. But she had another and then another larger sip, and started to enjoy it! She soon started giggling to her self. She was drunk. I smiled to myself, as my previous entry in this log will show, we have all been there. It did not take her long to finish the pitcher and not long after she was on her little bum having fallen off her chair. I could not help myself so I had to laugh. I went over to her and lifted her up into my arms, she was lighter than I thought she would be, and put her on the bed. Soon as she hit the matress she was up on her feet bouncing all over it. I watched for a moment with a smile glued to my face. She began telling me to join in, I said no of course. Well at first anyway, but I was on there bouncing away as I gave into her demands.
Bouncing on the bed is surprisingly tiring, so i jumped off and sat on the chair and told her to get under the covers, so what does she do? She jumps underneath the bed! And starts pretending to be a crocodile. It was a rather good impression and had me in stitches. I told her to get out or else. She just snapped at me, so what else could I do? Why get under and tickle her into submission of course. She was soon screaming so I got out from underneath the bed and grabbed her by the ankles, pulled her out, picked her up and threw her into the bed. Told her to get under the covers as I'm the Captain and that it was an order. So she did. Still smiling I sat in the chair and promptly fell asleep.
Last night I really enjoyed being with Jim. Even though she is part of the crew. Last night she wasn't. Looking back in this log I've noticed I've mentioned Jim a lot now. Why is that? And why am I asking a log questions? Maybe its because I'm hungry.
Think I'm going to have to Hide this log from now on. |
