What a day! Much to do in too little time.
First of all my trip to Eska’eldalie went well. Got there safely and got to my new home safely again as well. In Eska I spoke with my parents who told me my brother’s wife is with child and I spoke with Durinka who wanted to hear about the status in the Elven Quarter and who spoke to me on how VanQa was doing. She still sleeps and as Callum the night before had suggested, the Healers discovered that the sleep and the symbols carved in her skin are related. (Note to self: ask for a drawing of the symbols to give to Baroness Moiraine of Trinsic)
When I returned from visiting Eska I was met by Draxandru Rose who, after hearing about her sister, told me that Elion was having a training at the Moongate. Elion has been and is being a great friend and help to me, so of course I went quickly to join him. (I met with a new elf he had recruited as well, a lovely lady elf by the name of Cadala)
After training I tried finding Kealyn, but Trinsic was quiet. I heard there was a meeting held somewhere, so I guess most of the duchy guards and citizens attended that. I waited around for a while, spoke with that funny Kaldorian and thanked Taggart for guarding my honor while my soul was stolen from me, and then returned to the Trinsic Rose.
There I spoke some more with Taggart (mainly about a hooded shroud that was left on the Tavern floor but without an owner in it) but also listened to Baroness Moiraine and Justice Reann who asked me all sorts of questions in regards to Iglata and his history with VanQa and her Family. It is a good thing that Durinka has instructed me so well, the heavily damaged family should not be bothered with this sort of questions. My voice speaks for all of them and I hope it speaks clear enough.
As we were talking the Tavern filled with people. I saw Britannians, Vesperians, Kaldorians, and others. There were even some bartenders that I never saw before doing Belana’s and my work for us. Since they did not seem to bother the guests too much I decided to let them and even pay them for their effort.
Before leaving, Mordred of Kaldor arranged for me a hunt later this day with someone of whom he did not want to say the name. Even though I trust him and that I am looking forward to do some exploring, I am glad that Devante of the Marksmen is going to be at the same location at the same time. At least there will be a familiar face present in case I run into troubles.
In the end I didn’t even get to talk with Kaelyn about leasing the Provisioner…
