A thread of hope.

The first night of "full-time employment" within the new organization had been quite a trial for the elven huntress. She had accompanied several Libertine members earlier to Gruul's lair once earlier, though the ball was more firmly in the court of the Cult of the Void back then, even though the Libertines would nonetheless recieve their payment still. This time however it was a full plunge towards killing the Curator and Atare soon learned that things here work on quite a different level than that of running in forests killing trolls.

Movements were precise, the margin for error almost infentesemal and the cost to pay for the slightest mishap quite grevious. It became clear to her that to perform in the employ of her new organization she would have to step up her combat training and for a moment put aside her own quest. But then again, she thought, there were already good signs for her own quest within the organization.

Iskara, a healer of a sorts (Atare preffered not to deem her a Blood Knight as her mentality did not seem to quite fit it), proved to be quite a level-headed member of her own race. She only wondered if she could somehow renew her hope and eventually bring her into redeeming her own race. Sunnara also had a kind of fervor that was not based on magic - a tad rash, though still with right guidance it could serve as a good example to her kin of how to avoid magic and still have their focus.

The others seemed somewhat stranger...that tauren druid seemed quite savage, though still quite useful - and Atare made a note not to cross him too severely after he had just gotten a powerful artifact from this run. And Stanner proved quite a nuisance as well...but then again, as Iskara had put it well, with a good amount of healers being blood elves his life was pretty much in their hands - they could always scare him by witholding healing from him for that split second. Atare grinned at that thought.

Sunb however was...well...just himself honestly...not much that needed adding there, except that a smelly, horny old orc "being himself" was something Atare considered as a biohazard to steer clear of. Even if he did maul anything in his path most well indeed. And not much was gleamed about the one known as simply "H" amongst her peers.

But Atare figured she had plenty of time to find out. It wasn't like she was going anywhere - already she had come across several good individuals indeed and she was sure that, with a few more, she could renew hope for her quest. Not to mention that training for the clearing of Karazhan and other similar places was going to give her time to teach herself in combat the way she most likely never could in the jungles and forests through the hunt.

Slowly, but surely, she could see the thread appearing. And she was willing to hang onto it so long as it did not unravel...
