Getting a new job is great until you realise you won't get paid until 5 weeks later and you've little to no other money coming in. Having to use my already half depleated overdraft to feed us and pay bills, the bills I'm going to stop paying now until I get paid but I can't stop feeding us. Just waiting for the rent letters to start arriving too.
I was hoping to get Mikey some new school clothes at the end of the month but thats looking less likely unless I use my Christmas savings money which isn't much either.
All this because I hadn't been on Income Support for 6 months after leaving Uni. And because my partner had to sign off JSA because of needing to officially move in with me for the sake of Working Tax Credits. Its reasons like this that so many people find it hard getting back into work, especially when the help just stops dead and leaves you in the water struggling to get by.
