Some acted selflessly, rushing to the aid of other characters even though that meant they risked infection themselves.
Others fled infected cities in an attempt to save themselves.
And some who were sick made it their mission to deliberately infect others.
At no point did it occur to them that WoW is a game? And what people do in it may not be the same as what they do in real life? Just last night while playing I was swimming through crocodile infested waters, in the real world not something I would consider. If you take away the consequences of real life people will act differently, I am certain the vast majority of people who in game ran round trying to infect other people simply wouldn’t do it in real life and those that fled the cities probably had better things to do than die all evening and saw it more of an inconvenience than a life or death matter. The other thing to note is this all happened when ZG came out which was way back in 2005, that’s 2 feckin years ago! Did it take them that long to come up with this crap?
