I actually thought SVT had halted funding for that film? I know our Danish Radio which was participating in the project were told so, but maybe thats just another rumor?
Concerning the books, they are the foundation of any good templar, i certainly took bits and pieces from them and know others did as well =) How well we incorporate it into our chars vary of course, but to say the least the books have been a tremendous inspiration for me and i presume any other member who read them.
Im not sure how well translated they are in english, i read them in danish, and as with all Goulliou's books, they are enthralling and have kept me going for longer than any others.
I actually had them with me when i went sailing, think i read them 2-3 times, they're all good, but the second one with Arn in the crusades is the most exciting of them.
I just hope they dont fuck this one up like they did with the Hamilton movie. (another Guillou book transformed to film)
