A new year - and a new start.
New Years eve - I went to Cedarwood.
Mostly to tell Hedlyn, that the Company now have gathered the wares he had been asking for and to find a day, where we could get the wares to Yew.
We agreed on Thursday evening as we - Mostly likely, would be able to reach Cedarwood with the caravan unnoticed. I sure as feck, don't want to run into the Guards from Yew and I doubt Hedlyn want that either.
When we reach the shores of Yew - Hedlyn and the others will be waiting there with packhorses - And the Llama for good luck. Mmm, Llama's bring luck? If that's the case, then I better invest in one.
Anyways - I wished Hedlyn a happy new year and then I left Cedarwood.
I came back to the Swaggers and told Van, what I had arranged together with Hedlyn about the delivery.
As always, I knew Van would help out.
He might have a nasty reputation, but if your in need of a favour, Van is always willing to help you - Bless him.
I was in Trinsie last night chatting with Mordred.
Sioned came along and as always - She charms her way into people's hearts.
At first, she was shy and hiding in my skirt, but after a while.. Sio realised, that Mordred weren't as dangerous,
as he is tall so after a while Mordred were 'accepted' and then the questions began...
How many Dragons he had killed, How large they were, Did they fly and spit fire... Oh Gawd, I thought Mordred would pull his... well - beard and run of screaming - But to my surprise, he just chuckled and keept answering her questions to her own amusement.
I must remember to show her the Strongholt sometime. Tell her about the grand times, were the Kaldorians were in Sosaria and helped us getting the yewish arses out of northern Vesper.
Mmm, strange aint it? I didn't realize how much, I would miss them - Before they actually packed up and went back to theire own lands.
After a while Mordred had to leave us to go patrolling. I told him, that Sio and I wouldn't be in Trinsie when he returned, as I had some things to take care of at the Swaggers.
He said he would stop by the Swaggers, when he got off duty.
I took Sio to the Stable and her barrel-shaped little pony ( which Sio named Blossom, after she were done jumping up and down and asking me several of times, if it -really- was hers) was waiting.
Blossom is so small, that if I try sit on her, I can touch the ground with my feet on each side of her.
Blossom got a really calm temper and is used to children. So I think, I made a grand deal, when I bought her.
I asked Sioned, if we should take them out for a ride.. Her on Blossom and me on good ol' Jason.
As I suspected, she was very excited so we saddled up the horses and outside Trinsie, she had her lessons, in how to control the horse.
Bless her. All I have to say.
Watching her hold the reigns correct, and put her heels down and sitting so straight and proud.. And she is only 5 years old. I am positive, she will be an grand rider, when she grows up.
So after a while, we turned the horses around and began riding to Vesper. As always, Sioned was a big smile and I really enjoyed myself. Aint it funny, a little lass like her, can bring so much joy into life?
When we were close to the Swaggers, Blossom lowered her head down and began to nibble at the grass, I told Sioned to gently pull Blossom's reigns, as the she wasn't suppose to eat grass now. But I was too slow, Sio had already figured that out - And before I knew it... Sio and Blossom came trotted up the road..
The trip went well...
And as I thought, Sioned would be ready for bedtime, when we finally reached the Swaggers.
The ride had made her exhausted and I tugged her in at a room, at the Swaggers. I actually believe, she was sleeping before her head touched the pillow.
So I went downstairs and spoke with the two new Staff-members - Danielle and Ryland and then Van.
Shortly after, Rey and Gia arrived and then Mordred came.
Mordred had asked me in Trinsie, if we were planning another round of Twisted Dare and since we were a handful of people... I asked Gia to go fetch the books and I would pick up the dices.
The dices were rolled and I believe all of us had a grand laugh over some of the crazy dares, that was in.
My own Favorite, was when Van - After a pep-talk stormed over and placed several of wet kisses on Rey.
Not that the Lapdance from Gia was bad either.
A quiet, but still hillarious evening at the Swaggers...
More later, I got some work to do.. Need to speak with Van...
