Well I wouldn't mind ads in games so much if
1) They don't break immersion. Toyota ads in Oblivion would kinda suck
2) There's no spyware. Absolutely none what so ever.
3) The game is free, or at least extremely cheap. Hell if I'm paying to watch ads!
So far, EA has managed to break every single one of those (with the possible exception of #1, I haven't seen the ads yet, but have a hard time imagining how they'll do that.)
