Something I wanted to show

I asked a few weeks ago what you thought how to help and what you thought about a private shard.

I checked a bit around and found that there is more than one emulator program and tried the runuo one.
So I set up a shard and reworked some of the rules and you can have a look on it if you wish in the following weeks or whatever.
Server will not be up all the time - most of the time in the evenings for you to check about.

What did I change .. I set it in Felucca else I cannot do pushthrough.
I removed most magic items (should be sort of all)
Barbed Leather armor gives about 40 resists
Barbed Studded about 50, Valorite ring also about 50 ring has minor dex loss
Add chain to it you get to 60, minor dex loss
Platemail gives 70 with more dexloss

Healing timer is longer about 15 seconds - crosshealing is still fast - 2 seconds

The shard is not fully set up with Monsters-
You start in a chamber where you can set your skills with a skillstone and craft your own armor/weapons.
Then step through the gate and you land in Trinsic.

To connect to a shard I use a program called Razor
It is similar to UO assist

You can download it here
http://www.runuo.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=6

Click then - Downloads [Download Razor (Latest Version)]

You install this program and then run it

A window pops up

Under Load Client: "2D Client (Auto Detect)"

You need to have checked - Patch client encryption

UO Data Directory use 'Auto Detect'

Under Server : 80.108.169.209
Port:2593

Language keep ENU for english

for making an account use any name and password
like normal don't use your ea accountname or password

It is not meant as a permanent shard, but for people to easily check it out and have a look around and see what could be done.
