*…a single sheet of paper took flight from the top of the lighthouse tower, gently drifting away in the breeze. For a moment, Iljian stirred, yet dozed off once more, never noticing the absence of his airborne report…

Some of the boards near the door of the lighthouse had broken and I thought it best to repair them immediately before anybody would get hurt. Thus, I started duty later today. Town was quiet though and Kaelyn and Reann, who were at the gate together with some Britannian Guards and citizens, had everything under control.
The joint training session I wrote about yesterday is going to take place tomorrow, Wednesday, starting at 8.30 pm Britannian Standard Time. According to Stewan, the Guards have a new keep somewhere east of Britain, near the road, but all those that do not know where to go can meet at Stirling House at 8 pm to go together.
Reann mentioned that she is planning to see that drow, Vierna, at some point to talk to her about someone called Madelaine. Overall though, there don’t seem to be any real dangers to the town at the moment, like there had been in the past. All I was told about were some odd mushrooms and those do not sound too threatening.
Stewan and Reann talked about the upcoming market as well, discussing where it could take place. Most likely, according to them, either at the bank, near the Keg or at the Docks. It seems like they had not been hiring any entertainment yet, which would be a shame.
Rest of the night was quiet.

As the breeze died down, the sheet of paper lost height slowly, drifting down into the hands of a passing fisherman. He glared at the paper suspiciously, trying to make sense of the words and then looked up at the lighthouse tower. After having called up a few times without reply, he slipped the report in under the door and went back about his business.*
