| Ach, what a shame...I've been out here in Korea for over a year and a half, and it's been perhaps twice that since I played regularly, but I still remember Kaldor fondly. There was a period back in 2004, after I graduated Uni and was unemployed for a couple of months, that I can say with certainty that Kaldor kept me sane. I think it says a lot for the guild that even now I still recognise most of the names of people posting here (though I'm probably long forgotten...except by Moturdrn - I was in a couple of his pictures! ^^).
It was a lot of fun and a great little world to not only play in but also write in. Perhaps one day I'll write a novel about Kaldor...there were certainly enough stories to make it interesting: violence, religion, complicated love stories, friendship, comradery and one grumpy old general watching it all with the eye of an exhausted father.
There are plenty of people I'd like to say thanks to but the list it too long to say everyone. I will make special mention to Vax (was it? my memory is hazy), for inviting me to join in the first place, to Cal for letting me get so involved and keeping things interesting and to Paladis for looking after me, especially in the later days I played.
The time difference means I'll that even if we were able to be on the same server in Age of Conan, we'd never be able to RP together again, but keep everyone posted if people do gather again in any other MMORPG. Would be fun to see some friendly faces (names?) again.
Take care! |
