Dude - I just cant help but think your never going to find a game you like again =)
AoC will be very much like
WoW, GW, LoTRO and the rest. Sure there will be minor differences and hopefully good balanced pvp and well thought out stuff. But it will play like those other games - of that I'm pretty sure.
Any MMO requires lots of time to play it and like me you dont have that anymore. You need to be available to be online for strectches of 2, 3 or more hours straight. If you had had that time in LoTRO you would have enjoyed it more. LoTRO is a much better game than
WoW with much more of a sandbox feel.
I think you hanker after what you first had in
UO - community and role play and all that shizzle. Sadly I doubt that will ever happen again on the scale it did in
UO. And despite the well intentioned attempts such as this one [the Coalition] I doubt we will ever reach consensus in an MMO again.
Imagine going to
WoW and telling all the players they cant use their purplez in rp pvp. Youd just get lolled at =)
