At the risk of repeating myself....me too! It's like going against some sacred unwritten rule or something when you say LoTR was boring (though I loved the movies, it made a far far better movie).

There's only one book I found equally boring and that was Robinson Crusoe. And I only read that all the way through because I was forced to when I was doing the degree.
