I don't know what sort of inbred hick ye found to write yesterday's article on the Marksman's invasion of Serpent's Hold, but they are obviously lacking in education.
Firstly, it's Kaldorian, not Khaldorian.
Second, I do not understand the reference to "wytches". Last I looked, there were no green-faced, pointy-hatted women riding around on broomsticks or stirring cauldrons in the army.
We do have a couple of sorcerers in the ranks, as do the Britannia Guards and most of the other armed forces around this wretched continent. But no witches.
Thirdly, Serpent's Hold was bequeathed to the Army of Kaldor by Commander Jordan Jurrel of the Royal Britannian Guard. If the foolish Marksmen and their braindead sidekicks, the Britannia Guards, really want to piss off Jurrel and the ruling council, they are going about it the right way.
I advise them to leave now, or face our wrath.

Following an increase in crimes of a serious nature since the laws were last revised the following is proposed as a further revision. This revision not only instates a Death Penalty for the most serious crimes but also introduces a system whereby offenders considered to be dangerous to the citizens of the Duchy are Branded. This is proposed so that all may witness their shame and lack of honor at committing such despicable acts and also to make those that deal with them aware and so protect others from their future actions.
The crime of Kidnapping has been reclassified as a serious offence and the crime of Brawling, where both sides are equally at fault is to be included in the minor offences. The crime of Torturing is to be added to the more serious offences.
The revisions as enclosed were drawn up after a meeting attended by myself, Reann Justice of Trinsic and Kaelyn, Sergeant of the Duchy Guard. It is proposed that these changes be made at the earliest possible time.

Crimes of a more serious nature:-
*Where the accused freely confesses or pleads Guilty of his or her crimes, once a report has been filed with all necessary information, they should be referred to the The Justiciar or in their absence The Duke or Baron for appropriate sentencing.
*Where the accused pleads Not Guilty, Bail can be set where appropriate by The Duke, The Baron[ess], or The Justice, following the terms outlined below, until the case can be investigated and a trial set.
*Those that commit such crimes will be considered a danger to the safety or security of the community and required to be viewed by all as such. This will be achieved not only by the wearing of the custodial orange robe but also [if the GM of their guild will agree/play along] by affixing a badge to be worn at all times outlining their crimes for a period to be determined, though no more than two weeks.
Note:- all Fines are to be paid to the city to cover costs of legal proceedings etc and compensation is to be made in the presence of a duchy official, to the victim or immediate family [spouse or children] of the victim where possible.
Kidnapping [Badge - Kidnapper]
Bail to be granted only at the discretion of The Duke, The Justice or The Baron[ess].
Public flogging 20 lashes or 24 hours in the stocks [120 minutes real time] at the justice's discretion
plus a fine of 10,000 gold to the city.
The Kidnapper will then be branded on the palm of one hand with an encircled letter K to denote their crimes and kept in custody for a period of 24 hours during which time they will be supervised whilst undertaking duties of hard labour.
An appropriate level of re compence to the victim's dependents should be determined, and once the sentence is complete banishment from the city for a period to be determined but not more than 3 weeks
Conspiracy to Assault [Badge - Conspiritor]
Bail to be granted only at the discretion of The Duke, The Justice or The Baron[ess].
Public flogging 10 lashes or 6 hours in the stocks [60 minutes real time] at the justice's discretion
plus a fine of 2,500 gold to the city
and an appropriate level of re compence to the victim and banishment from the city for a period to be determined but not more than 1 week.
Assault - [Badge - Assailant]
Bail to be granted only at the discretion of The Duke, The Justice or The Baron[ess].
Public flogging 20 lashes or 24 hours in the stocks [120 minutes real time] at the justice's discretion

The Assassin will then be branded on the palm of one hand with an encircled letter T to denote their crimes and kept in custody for a period of 48 hours during which time they will be supervised whilst undertaking duties of hard labour.

plus a fine of 30,000 gold to the city.
The Traitor will then be branded on the palm of one hand with an encircled letters Tr to denote their crimes and kept in custody for a period of 72 hours during which time they will be supervised whilst undertaking duties of hard labour.
An appropriate level of recompence to the victim's dependents should be determined, and once the sentence is complete banishment from the city for a period to be determined but not more than 5 weeks
High Treason [Badge- Traitor to Crown]
No bail granted
Sentence - Public Execution.

Regarding your article 'Repulsive rebels attack farmers! Then lie to cover their behinds..' well isn't that the biggest load of tosh I've ever heard. It is true what it says in the poster, I know, as I made it and infact I posed as the 'Southern Loyalist Front's' leader Aaron Charad. The group was made by me as a project and let me just say the project was successful.
No one was 'killed' when getting the uniforms, infact I had one of the Covian craftsmen make all the parts so again that was a lot of pish posh and hogwash. Any problems with this you can find me in cove.
