| The caravan today was, apart from the endless complaints, a success. Stewan had his usual wealth of food and supplies and I helped out with an additional load of salted and fresh fish and some hams and strings of sausage for the hard working miners. Altogether the supplies should last well over a month, provided neither of the armies decide to plunder and pillage the town yet again.
As discussed with his Grace, we took the longer road through Yew, where we met some members of the militia and rested some before moving on. According to their words, our efforts were duly appreciated, especially since the loyalists currently holding the town are cut off from their own supply lines, thus being unable to transport goods in sufficient quantities without their caravans being raided. Some militia members followed us as far as to their border in order to ensure that we could pass everywhere without troubles (it seems their church even hates llamas now, for whatever reason) and bid us safe journey. We passed through Covian lands but then turned away from the roads to finish the journey safely. Near the end, Stewan’s llama trudged into the net of a giant spider and he had some troubles to free it once more and to fend off the beast, but in the end ha managed and delivered his wares as well. Only the Britannian Guards never showed this night; it would seem their concern for the citizenry only extends to those cases in which they themselves can look like the heroes.
