Series 2 was no where near as good as 1

It started off poorly with too much of the Japan nonsense, and then they had to rush the ending because of the writers strike

There are FAR too many characters in it now, they need to kill a lot of the non main ones off.

I have been thinking

Peter Petrelli : Hate him but main character so keep
Cheerleader: Keep
Angela: Dump, easy to kill
Nathan: Kill
Those Mexicans: Keep the woman
Sylar: Kill
Suresh: Keep
Parkman: Keep
Nikki and Micah: Keep
The woman who can copy stuff: Get rid off
Noah : Keep, but limit
Hiro: Keep
Elle and Bob: Unsure
Adam: Keep in place of Sylar
Molly: Keep

Get rid of all the rest
