Meh. People mistake
UO's free for all pvp as the big reason for its popularity. Fel has been deserted for over 2/3rds of
UO's life. What makes
UO so great is, as well as the ksill system, the freedom. The ability to arrange our own wars, to customise clothing, to go into woods with a hatchet and saw and build forts out of boxes. The ability to place items on the ground. It's a world, not a 'game'. Simply letting people kill each other willy-nilly was never the point of
UO. Shadowbane lets people do that, and it never took off.
