| Yep, but women tend not to have big flashy careers as they tend to be the primary caregiver.
But in the Western world it is possible. Look at Maggie Thatcher, Angela Merkel etc etc... There are plenty of women who reached the top. Women can, I just think sometimes they choose not to for whatever reasons. I think western women are lucky, we only worry about the glass ceiling or whatever, in other developing countries you are risk before you are even born from female infanticide or sex selective abortions, then there is FGM etc etc... or not being allowed to drive! we should embrace and celebrate our liberations on how lucky we are to live in the West. We have one of the lowest maternal mortality rates for example. |
