| Tournament and Poetry contest rules
Most of the Tournament rules are common sence and are basic Core rules anyhow.
Tournament
Prizes-Handsome enough to keep you through winter:
1st place - 100K gold, Second 50K gold, Third 25 K gold
Rules:
No magic weapons, no magic armor, no magic items (this includes stat/skill jewelry).
No Vet Reward cloaks/Robes
Only non-runic crafted melee weapons are allowed. Colored ingots are fine, runics or enhanced are not.
GM, non-ruinic crafted bows/crossbows are allowed.
Any craftable armor is allowed, of any ingot or hide type, including scale. Enhanced armor is not allowed.
No Poisoning
No spells, summoning or other
No pets, this includes spectators. Please stable your pets before arriving at the tower.
No looting.
No stealing.
Loss of connection during a fight will result in that fighter losing the match.
In the interest of keeping the tourney progressing and not dragging out the fights, at the ten minute mark, the referee will call both participants to hold. Both will retreat to their starting point and heal up. When the fight resumes, it will proceed with no potions and no healing (either by bandies or mage/paladin skills).
Tournament will be single elimination
All fighters are subject to snooping by the staff.
Any spectator inference will result in the spectator being banned and the fight starting over.
No one is permitted inside the fighting area except the fighters for that match and the ref.
Fighters may not hide or cast invisible during there fight
The ref will have final say over any match, issues or complaints with the rules will not be discussed until after the tournament has ended.

Come Naked (in other words with plain clothes that do not hide any jewels or stuff) If you want to compete for 100K to the last one standing!
When we yell go, all participants run in, pick stuff up off the ground (Yes, there will be stuff for mages and archers) and have at one another. Once in the ring there are no rules (Yes, stealth and hiding are fine! Loot away, its all our gear anyhow- this is the one time looting of items other than a yellow bag will be allowed for brawl participants ONLY- bank any of your gear or have a friend hold it all. See Below)
Participants come with ONLY a spellbook or runebook
No Jewels,
No Clothing,
No Pots,
No bandages,
No Weapons,
No Armor,
No Skill Altering anything clothing wise
If only chairs and bottles could be used as weapons...
Autumnal Poetry Contest
One Poem of an Autumnal theme may be entered per participant.
All entrants must submit a copy of a book containing their poem in it.
Each participant will read their poem aloud to the panel of judges and the audience.
A Panel of non participating Judges will jury the entries and give each entry a score. The scores will be totaled and the entry with the highest score will win the grand prize of 100K and a copy of all of the entries, second highest will win 50K and third will receive 25K.
