Character background: Rose is a person of the sea. Her heart loves the freedom the sea provides. Even tho it has caused her much pain in her past. She had been in love once some sixteen years ago now. She and her new husband sailed from their home port to Nujel'm for their honeymoon when fate took it's toll. A fierce storm hit their ship as they sailed, the waves crashed over the deck with a relentless fury. The couple, along with their crew struggled to keep themselves afloat when suddenly a wave crashed into the deck.
"Man overboard!" rang loudly against the roaring sea and winds, Rose looked to her left and her face went pale. Her new husband had vanished from her side. Quickly she raced to the railings in hopes of spotting him, but the violent water let nothing be seen. The vessal tossed and bucked in the sea as she and the crew struggled against the seas' fury. Night fell as the storm slowly subsided. The crew and her searched through the night and all the next day for her lost love, but it was futile. The sea was still and her husband gone from her.
Rose carried on her and her dead husbands' dream of running a trade ship. Now 16 years later, she is slowly making a name for herself....
