Due to having just lost everything i think most seem unwilling to gamble on something unknown.
UOforums is presently working and people can see that...its established.
F4g bombed out and people are bitter about it. What people need to remember is that
F4g was run by Marty for years who did a damn good job of doing it...until RL work took over which no doubt left him less and less time to commit to the forums.Unlike many that would rather point the finger at his failings (the backup issue) i think he did well to keep things going for so long as he did as is likely more gutted than most to see so much work go down the drain.

F4g moved to Jolt servers it would free up the need for Marty's commitment as he wouldn't have to dedicate his time to it anymore...as he wouldn't be the one in control.
The reason Cal is banging her head against a brickwall (in my opinion) is because most want stability instead of the unknown. Jolt being an extremely large concern can no doubt be trusted to constantly backup files BUT who will give an extra backup facility incase of the .01% possibility Jolt bombs out (highly unlikely i know)? Who will be ultimately in control (We is far to generalised)?
To be blunt some will see it as 'Cal will be incharge' and likely wont like that idea due to past differences.Gives me no joy at all to say that at all.
