Annual Moot Starts Today!
Trinsic hosts the full-on peace-out.
Darlings, it's the time of year for flowers to grow, little birds to sing, and for people to basically love one another
(although only after 9pm, behind closed doors, since it's hosted in Trinsic. Dig those local laws!).
Yes - the Moot has returned. Following Britain's successful gathering, the Moot has found its home in Trinsic, and will be getting underway from this evening, just after this edition hits the presses. Many activities are planned throughout the week, and the public is asked to keep an eye on notices around various towns to ensure that they can fully partake of the merrymaking.
There is, of course, a serious side to the festivities; the understanding of the Moot is that emnities are put aside, so that leaders can discuss important matters to secure co-operation for the coming year (netting lucrative trade and protection contracts in the process) as well as allowing common folk (according to the Duke's notes, that includes reporters) a chance to meet with those they'd not normally share a moment of the day with. It's all in the spirit of friendship - so don't be the one to capsize the boat, pollute the bathwater, wake the baby, or disrupt the metaphor.
Things kick off on Sunday with
Grand Party at the Meeting Rooms by the park. Entertainment is most assuredly promised!

Kaldorians give Loyalists a bath!
An ignoble sea-dunking for the invading forces
Your clean reporter absolutely adores bathing; it's something she impresses upon everyone she meets, some more often than others. The dirty bu.... Anyway, it's nice to see that the rose-petal-scented (despite the armor) Commander Soulshadow has taken it on herself to give the so-called loaylists a good scrubbing.
The Army of Kaldor were apparently given control by generous but somewhat gullible Royal Commander Jordan Jurrel a couple of years back. Presumeably, he wanted them as far away as possible from the people who were actually Britannian, and these invading forces would be happy elsewhere. Following the Kaldorian's work with the Rebels, the loyalists have seen fit to take it on themselves to eject the Kaldorians from the island of Serpent's Hold, presuming that the Commander was displeased with the Kaldorians assisting the rebels.
Well, regardless of Jurrel's thoughts (and believe me, your darling reporter couldn't regard him less, since he hasn't called, hasn't written, etc.) the Kaldorian's kept their feet firmly on the ground, and made the offending offenders less offensive by giving them the push off the island. That'll teach them! Now, if only Commander Soulshadow would bring mandatory washing into the ranks of the Duchy Guard...

The Weekend Picture Supplement
Following last week's picture, a new one has been sent to your art-sensitive reporter, who must admit the likenesses are spot on!
Quote:
You see a sketch of building that looks remotely like the Trinsic jail an uncluttered street. Along the wall of the jail you can see several people sketched and as you look closer you may make out the figures of Kaelyn, Natalie, Shelly, Cecil who all seem to laugh at a figure that is running in front of them.
The figure running on front of them is a woman in sandals, a long skirt, a leather bustier and a skullcap on her head. Her hair is long and flowing behind her which suggests that she is running quickly.
The most prominent features about the woman running are her long pointy ears and her tail, which seems to be smoking and the reason why she is running around so frantically. She is trying desperately to put out her smouldering tail with both of her hands while running.
If you look very closely you can notice that one figure that looks like Reann is holding a torch in one of her hands and on her face you can see a more than amused smile.

Your impoverished reporter thinks the Poste - as a public service - should be a free service; and live tax free. What do you think? Is someone going to by the Poste out of its destintution?
