To get the chance to RP, and hopefully learn to be a better roleplayer.

A friend from collage is in the guild and he invited me.

Rp Background:
Before his ninth birthday Itlias parents where claimed by the sea a stormy night while heading to the city of Tortage. He drove ashore at the dock on a piece of boat wreckage. Cold and afraid he crawed up on the shore and raised his head. The sight that met him didn't reduce his emotions. A dark dirty place, full with unknown sailers, beggars and thievs. He walked up the streets and noticed a smell of something that he could just hope be something eatable. Fighting his way through drunk sailers, beggars, thieves and city guards he came up to a stand. There stod a big fat greasy man and selling meat on a stick of some kind. The boy searched his pockets just to find that he didnt have any money. Frustrated he turned around to walk away when he saw his chance. The fat man turned around to grab something from the back, and the meat was know unprotected. The boy didn't need to think twice, and seconds later he was sitting in a backalley eating something that he wouldn't even feed his dog back home. But he was not hungry and he feelt his strength come back to him.

Years past living like a thiev and beggar on the streets of Tortage. Sleeping under the bare sky or in a barn had become a way of life for him. Until one day when a kind blacksmith offered him a job, a job as a running boy. Itlias had reached the age of nineten and had grew big and tall. He kindly accepted the job and started to run errands for the blacksmith. He didn't get much pay for the job, but the blacksmith gave him food everyday and somewhere to sleep. He saved the few coins he earned to one day be able to go to the city of Tarantia. He had heard the sailors talk of it warmly and his biggest dream was to one day walk on the streets of this mighty city.

Another year past and Itlias who now was a fullgrown man had finnaly saved up enough money for his journey. Under this year he had spent all of him free time either in the blacksmith training with weapons or walking in the woods. He had created a strong bond with the nature and felt ready to explore the world outside Tortage. On a rainy day he said goodbye to the blacksmith, stept abored on a cargoship with the destination of Tarantia...

Not a great roleplayer but I see this as a chance to get better at it.
