| From what I've heard of the 'Goons' from other games I suspect that in part people are complaining based solely on the reputation rather than actual encounters. On the other hand, the guild's main purpose is to grief and won't think twice about spawn-camping with a dozen folk killing one. I also wouldnt put it past them deliberately trying to grief events simply by having as many members as possible enter an instance to lag it up. All in all I'm glad it's a US based guild. | ||||||||

| Hate to burst your bubble, but europe has a similar guild.. though they play nice(r) than these goonies, SCUM as they're called, are still pretty infamous for ganking lower-levels and group-ganking people who are at a disadvantage. They're based on Aquilonia. I've not been the target of them (since my main's level is too high) but there are complaints about them, buuut... since they play nice, i just call it "Gank or be ganked". Besides, they don't purely grief fortunately. | ||||||||

| Scum are nowhere near like the Something Awful guild. One is set up to PvP and has some mebers who pick on lowbies and the like (As all large PvP guilds tend to have), the rest are just out to PvP whenever they can, no matter who you are. I've been killed more by 'RP guilds' than none RP ones For example somone in Sons of Camulous the other day one shot me as I ressed at the entrance to the Sewers as he was leaving. But the Something Awful guild is set up to grief and give hassle | ||||||||

| Fear the Mantis, Unregistered! | SCUM aren't anywhere near the level SA get to when they start playing a game en-masse. Even browser based games don't tend to be safe havens, heh.
