As he looked down from the west tower of the keep, he saw the citizens of the colony assemble slowly at the entrance.. With a slight sigh he barely noticed himself, he counted the numbers and saw that there really should be more people assebled for this. It had to be done tho, and of course, the new verdict from the council would spread quickly enough..
He made his way down the stairs, adjusting his armorpieces and brushing some lint off his cape as he walked. Looking presentable in the eyes of the populace was something he always had found a necessity.
Stepping into the doorway, he heard the mumblings of the crowd slowly ebb away. He cleared his throat with a silent cough, and in with a strong voice proclaimed the laws of the colony..

By the authority of the Council, i declare the laws of New Tronac effective as of now..

Anyone caught with practicing the dark arts of raising the dead, summoning demons or the like within citylimits will be arrested by the Guard. Punishment will consist of public battering until the offender understands the fault of his ways.

Anyone caught dueling or brawling within citylimits will be arrested by the Guard and held in custody until the sum of 50 copper will be paid. If the offenders cannot pay, they will do manual labour in the quarry until the sum of 50 copper in stone has been added to the city´s warehouse.

Anyone caught explicitly threatening, harassing or behaving disorderly towards another member of the public within citylimits, they will be arrested by the Guard. Punishment will be declared by the Commander as he see´s fit for the crime.
