Pixie adventures: Emotional times

The sound of innocent laughter of small winged creatures is not something uncommon in the Elven Quarter. Three are often seen there and who knows maybe even more then those three have left the secret elven city Eska’eldalie to stay with their elven friends. One of these creatures you may have heard about and maybe even met if you are that lucky. Her name is Venka Joyleaf and she came to the Elven Quarter together with Gwen Irima, which was about a year ago. How their friendship was formed you better ask either of them, although I would suggest to ask Gwen as the elf has a more comprehensible manner of speaking. But friends for life they are.

Venka is a happy little creature and possesses the same curiosity that her elven friend has. But even though her curiosity towards anything and everyone, Venka can be a bit anxious so she likes to watch life go by from a safe distance. Most of her time she spends wandering through the woods around the Elven Quarter looking for fresh reagents to brew her potions with. She loves that, that’s her thing. Making all sorts of potions for all sorts of things (and usually she is quite good at making potions, except that one time she made this mistake which caused the Trinsic Rose Tavern to smell awefully for days). A lot of her potions are actually quite handy, like her healing potions and cure potions, so you’ll also see her friend Gwen look for fresh reagents in the immediate area of the Quarter.

Along with that Venka is also a very caring creature, and when it comes to her friend Gwen I must confess… her love for Gwen makes her a bit unpredictable sometimes. Don’t get me wrong, she doesn’t intentionally want to cause troubles for Gwen. Oh no definitely not that. But she is a pixie and pixies don’t always realize beforehand the consequences of their actions. Oh look, there she goes, she’s up to something.

Where are you going Venka? You want to make Gwen feel better? I was not aware Gwen was feeling blue. She seems to me very cheerfull lately. Oh, her father visited the Elven Quarter? You are going to put something in her tea? Erm.. are you sure that is a good idea, little pixie friend? No ! carefull ! Your bottle isn’t correctly closed. Uum… Venka? Your bottle has fallen in the sugar pot and it is empty now. Did you know this label says something else then “happy making” potion? A mistake ??? uhoh, I hear someone coming… Good! We can tell about… Now where did that pixie go off too?

OOC: From this Friday on until the end of august or until the matter is solved IC, anything that is made in the Trinsic Rose Kitchen which contains sugar, will have the current emotions of your character strengthened. Examples: Cheerfull, you’ll be laughing and showing your happiness very bluntly and extravagant. Angry, you will snap at people and become hostile and/or rude. When having drank or ate something with sugar you can exaggerate the emotions that your character is feeling that moment.
The effect is temporarily, varying from half an hour to an hour, and not all the drinks and foods are affected so if you don’t want to play along you can still come to the Rose for a drink. The cookie pouch on the bar has cookies and other free yummies in it that is also not affected by this, because it is made by another cook.

The following is affected: Blue Berry Lemonade, Gwen’s home made ciders and Peach liquor, pies (except meat pie), cakes, cookies and muffins (only when ordered in the Trinsic Rose Tavern of course). Tea is unaffected, but if you use sugar in your tea your tea gets contaminated. Wishing all that play along a lot of fun
