I can honestly say that UO will never be reinstalled on my computer again.
EA broke the game for me many expansions ago and all that left was the RP community.
When the RP community became the thing making me physically ill and people were actually sending me ICQs telling me to drop dead (thanks to a UO player that had wanted a bit of attention and didn't care what it took to get it) I decided enough was enough and stopped using ICQ and UO. *shrugs* Miss you all but never been happier.

and mina...it'll be sorted, but I'm waiting a couple of weeks till we know exactly what the forums are doing. Seems no point in setting it up for a couple of weeks only to move it again.

What broke the game for me was that almost all the people I stayed in the game for, were exclusively playing WoW, or had WoW accounts and played both games.

Now some went back to UO and stopped playing WoW, but by that point I was settled in.

I reactivated Mina in UO a couple of times but really had a totally dire time. Even with checking the boards for what was going on I couldnt get back into the community. After previous breaks I had got back into UO with barely any trouble (after quitting SWG Seriya had the first 2 mina reports in her hand on day 1)

I miss the Cloaks, and a few of the trinsic posse, but I really cant say I miss the rest.

Heh, you're thinking of the wrong long-lost Cloak there, Camigwen. Wrackthe Rotten really has clattered off into the proverbial sunset. Though you're right, he was with us roughly around the same time as Rabin... which is something like 3 years ago.

Pre-XMas 2002 until about May 2003 I think, when I quit UO for a long time. I didn't even hang around long enough to get my +5 stat bonus for 'surviving the Age of Items'
