Mercenary Guild ?

Are there any active mercenary guilds on europa? I mean like real mercenary guilds that side on whoever pays the most and not someone who just sides with whoever they like more "cuss boc sux and srf doesnt" (that was an example,

Thf and B^F will both do pretty much anything for gold. I'd probably recommend B^F to you because, quite simply, they're bigger than me at the moment.

Mh. I suppose if I'm sticking around this time, I need to actually start recruiting people. Lol.

I think we were the last ever guild accepted into CoY, yeah. I might be wrong, but I can't remember anyone else getting in afterwards.

edit: Oh and yes, I'm the GM.

Both look good. CoY I like. I was more looking for a guild that potray itself as a mercenary company, and not as thugs or worshippers of the guardian. You see what I mean?

*Grins*. Fair point, but I don't think there's one around at the moment that I know of. Nothing like *F* / T*M anyway. As far as I'm aware, the rent-a-sword jobs all go to the rogues guilds at the moment.

You could try applying for a larger stone like BoC, -V- or Grd with a civilian mercenary - though you might get weapons restrictions or something like that, I dunno how they'd work.

B^F have the B-team mercenary hire but are mostly just thugs not many merc jobs flyin around, least none that i've noticed

That's the thing, see. There are very few RP opportunities for mercenaries in the game, you literally just get paid to turn up and balance out the numbers in a fight. *Shrug*

Theres a house behind mine with MERC HQ on it, or was...aint sure what they get upto though. They did at one point ask for war status with the CoR stone, but was through a war declaration only, no icq contact, so ignored it

The only MERC characters I've seen are ex TBK ninja, I think. *Shrugs*. I presume Akira or someone's behind it, if he's still around?

Kuro, the ex-DoT captain now runs his own merc dedicated guild, MERC. B^F are mercs but I have a hard time getting us work, I have to go around asking people if we are needed my self.

Aha, that sucks. Would be fun if just random people would just hire mercs or people for anything. Protection, cleaning, body guard duty, murder, shopping anything. Would be cool

Aye they did. The Pacifier. Always thought that was funny. In the USA a dummy is a pacifier so basically vin deasal was a dummy cast as a dummy!
