| I don't and won't carry a yellow bag. Though I'll quite happily advertise that any amount of gold, bandages, gems, food, or just about anything else (with the exceptions of silly things like armour and weapons) is lootable / stealable from any of my characters. Personally I'd take the same attitude with anyone not carrying a yellow bag.

| Ofcourse I do, but very few of my victims have had. In an event of me not having a bag, I'll gladly give away gold, or arrange it ooc. If I was defeated, I should pay a price, other than 30min wait imo. Isn't this one of the core requirements ?

| If you find a character not carrying a yellow bag, this from the new RoE applies: "8. All players must carry a yellow bag in which items available for looting or stealing must be kept. In addition to one or more items from this bag, food, drink, gems, and up to 1000 gold coins may be taken per victim." So the yellow bag is merely a way of letting "other" things get stolen as well. | Pfft, there seems to have been hardly any point to them. I carried 4 useful IC items, half my bandages or regs (depending on char), a few gold and about 15000 gold's worth of gems on each of my character and they were never touched in 2 1/2 years.

| I get robbed all the time, so there's definately a need to have rules also make thieves welcome to the role-playing community. Personally, I'd rather see a much more liberal ruling on thieving, like what Park sketched out above.

| I've never, EVER understood the yellow bag rule, to be really honest. I mean, when that was being first implemented, who on EARTH randomly dreampt that up!? I know it gets boring hearing this, but CoY's loot / stealing rules just seemed to be basic common sense. Heh. You can steal x, x and x from any corpse / person - that's that.

| I never carried a yellow bag. Feel free to steal anything from my char that isn't a rare or takes hours to be replaced. I usually don't carry my heirloom-pet-sword with me that I had since '97 nor do I carry my entire rares collection with me. Been RPing it that way since '97... heck, back in that day there were actually REAL thieves out there who didn't care about yellow bags! Character name is Vivian Riovanes. thxu P.S. Oh and I KNEW there would be another yellow bag thread waiting just around the corner. Next week it's probably mounts again  P.P.S. | No, next week it'll probably be about ignoring blues. We've not had that one for quite a bit. After that I think the being left in jail topic is scheduled to make an appearence. Personally I'm with the Su-mi and Flo' school of thought. | ||
