| POLL: Where should the next Meet be held? Meets have usually been in Nottingham or London but I've stuck a couple of other options out of interest. For those that haven't been to Nottingham before, it's served by East Midlands Airport and has a direct train link to London. If you book far enough in advance you can get some very nice Apex tickets (was ?12 for a first class single last time, so ?24 total). In London we have met in the Audley or more recently, the Lamb (the Lamb is near King's Cross and Russell Square - the Audley is between Green Park and Bond Street tubes). In Nottingham we generally go to the Pit and the Pendulum, a goth theme pub which is a lot of fun and serves good cocktails. Other locations, I can't tell you about as I've not been there! Again it's multiple choice so vote on any you are happy with.

  | In an incident of national treachery most foul, I opted London and not Cardiff. Out of simple laziness, to be honest. I'm sorry to everyone who "would go to a meet, if it were nearer to me" but frankly my logic's the same. I can be fucked to get on the tube and go for a few bevvies with you lot. I can't be fucked to go anywhere that involves hotels and mass travel.

Notts...I can drive there...HELL of a lot cheaper than the train to london. London...if I get a grant thing, at a push I'll fly :/ Train is way outta line tho, fecked if gonna pay ?140 travel costs. |

| London cause it's closer to me, but Notts because i think they have better pubs down there, the P&P is more spaceous then the lamb and has music ^^ Though i guess a room would be booked if we went to the Lamb, so wot i meant to say is whatever! | ||||||||

| Stop going off subject. Tbh, London is alright.. It doesn't really matter because if we rent out a pub room everyone's gonna get a few drinks down 'em (Park Su-Mi agreed to buy me drinks, Don't let her tell you otherwise.) and your not gonna care where you are because you'll be having fun! On another off subject thing.. I'm thinking of coming back to Uo.. It was the third time I had quit UO, And it'll be the second time I quit WoW. I dunno what to do. | ||||||||

| At the moment, I'd have to say Nottingham or York, as a trip to London is a) Too expensive and b) Involves obscenely early morning/late night start or finish to the journey, as I discovered last month.. (To get to London for 1pm = me getting up at 5am). York I don't know, but I have a matey who lives there, so she could possibly recommend a pub or two.
