Locke makes a good point even though he is joking, I think

It only takes one annoyed role player to switch to his/her red and call their pk mates and you have a ruined event that people have spent time arranging. Nice idea in theory but I doubt it would work.

good points all round!

however

- on "push through" - you dont push through when you arent pvping so why do it when you are? [of course in a battle thats easier said than done so maybe i should stfu on that one =)]

- on reds - back in the day we could beat the reds with our l337 fighting skills - i can recall Garod, Ra karn, Angelus, Cean , Jhaniss , Rom Silvershade and more being capable of fighting multiple reds =) ahh good old days eh?

- on felucca - you seem to forget felucca contains much of the old role play history - Naeloth, Spiritwood, Nohkmar, Deepwater, Dreamstone, Eldamar and more and that there are still guilds who role play in felucca and who live there - I ran into a genuine Red rp orc a while back in Nohkmar and some one rping a lost young girl in Deepwater

- if you want to fight using the felucca ruleset just go do it get tooled up and go fight the reds and blues already there -there have been lots of recent pvp events in felucca which were awesome!

Thats because back in the old day, they had the same equipment as us but perhaps maybe a Vanq Warmace (the king of pwnage) aswell?

Although saying that, a small patrol of Grd recently went to a champ spawn and we got quite a few kills using bola's and Disarm/Mortal surround tactics

No this was after Age of Shadows - maybe four/five years ago?

It will work, Because we will fight i guardzone, long as we dont attack a red, the red wlil jsut get gaurd whacked if hes stupid enough to attack us. and push through tactics, aye chug a refresh sorted, but still. it would add a tactical sense to Pvp instead of my perosnal favourate, Con + FS omg hes alive! RUN!

Scrolls arnt a Huuuge advantage, gear makes the gap a hell of alot wider

it's more like 6%. it does make a difference, but is really not the be all and end all..

rather not have them though. especially in RP.

Im one that would gladly rp with a red...

Alot o f the reds that dont roam the hot spots.. they pretty much all suck since they look for stragglers or miners. Fight back adn they recall

Anyhow - whilst I'm resigned to playing most of my time in trammel I still prefer the felucca ruleset and still patrol and play in felucca quite happily and get along fine wiht the majority of those I meet there.

The idea of having some nice large scale battles in the feluccan towns rocks big time and I would love to see it happening!
