Fireworks? - All monsters from sewer rats up are spawning fireworks. They don't seem to do much other than go boom......

Fireworks?
All monsters from sewer rats up are spawning fireworks. They don't seem to do much other than go boom...so not sure what they are good for. I think it's some in game scenario thing that's coming up. Anyone know more?

I'm waiting for them to iron more of the bugs out, personally. And preferably bring out an anniversary edition so I don't have to download it.
