Nice, but... the first pic has some strange stuff. First of all, that terrible excuse for an ophidian. Secondly, for some strange reason I get the idea that when someone runs, the angle that the leg makes is kind of... painful if you really ran that way.

It's not *vastly* different, really, is it? On the whole I mean. Just a bit frillier around the edges - though the horse barding looks nice I wonder if the horses turn in the same strange merry-go-round way that they do on the 3D client now...

Plus side:

Looks a lot better than currently and I'll not be as embarassed to show the game to my friends.

Minus:

I'd hoped for a -real- 3D client when this seems to be UO:TD with new graphics. I had hoped for something as graphically good as NWN1 - not too high spec'd in my opinion.

So... mixed feelings really

I love the overhead view (hence my NWN comment) but these images look 'grainy' for some reason...

It's been suggested that is due to jpeg compression, and also viewing them at less than full scale.

omg it's a medieval sims game! Oh no wait it's the new uo. Look's pretty good though. Not sure i like the bit about "we plan in the long term to only support one client". Means they will erase the old 2d client one day *Mumbles*.
