The Ood in Dr Who remind me of Ilithids, I did wonder RDT had read any Forgotten Realm books.
I think its like others said, you need to be careful of how you play your char. I had a half-deamon character who to everyone else was human and only showed her other side to a select few. But I made sure she wasn't overpowered or anything, I think as soon as that happens people will stop rping with you.

I had a quarter demon, quarter elemental, quarter undead and quarter welsh char that when he blinked he perma killed characters.
