Saturday 7th October, in Nottingham. We are going to the Goose Fair and then to the Pit and Pendulum. People are staying at Jury's Inn near the station.

Nottingham.

Meeting at the Hotel (Jury's Inn which is really close to the station) between 12 and 1pm. Then we are going off to the Nottingham Goose Fair to do lots of spinny pukey rides and rollercoasters, and then finally to the Pit and the Pendulum pub for cocktails and booze in the evening. (Suggest upstairs there to avoid the thrash metal disco downstairs...)

Just an update on the fair:

There's going to be a Mondial Capriolo, Space Roller (a Mondial Topscan, a couple of Boosters, a couple of mice coasters and a mini log flume, a KMG Speed (same as a Booster), a Tango, a Power Surge and a reverse bungee.
Of course that's just a few of the rides going - there will be a lot!
There will also be some more old fashioned attractions like merry go round, Steam Yachts, Cakewalk and a Wall of Death (motorbike dude).

Keep an eye on the Goose Fair site for updates!

I worked that ride on when my local fair was down in Weymouth. Though the motor went a bit funny on it and the ride went alot faster than it should of, i had to keep stamping on a part near the motor to slow it down again.
