Moderators actually deserve a price, simply for having to read all the rabble that drifts ashore here from people that have the bizarre notion to fight for their freedom of distributing irrelevant opinions and failed humour in the least appropriate place.

If you want to do something useful for the world then fight for freedom of speech in Russia.

This board exists to inform people about things that go on in the game, to discuss things that go on in the game and to plan things that go on in the game. Its a board where all from the community should feel welcome to post constructive questions or ideas and where all can easily update themselves on ongoing things. It is not, was never and will not be a babble board. Live with it.

So which is, are people allowed to discuss things here or are they not? Renaming discussion babble doesn't suddenly make you right. Stop whinging, I doubt the threads supposed to be "serious". Jesus christ, why do any of you let such small things get to you?

As for freedom of speech in Russia..wtf? No one brought anything vaguely like that up.

Its not about this thread. This is just another failed punch in the wrong direction.

The problem is that this board drowns in heaps of hostile messages, flames and dubious jokes which makes it impossible for people to use it for the purpose it was actually created for. Spend the time discussing events. Spend the time discussing rules. Spend the time talking about ingame stuff. Babble where its appropriate.

But stop this flamewar for heaven's sake. It is harmful to the community as a whole, to the guilds of those that take part in particular and it ensures that we get absolutely nothing done. We are all playing a game -together-. Roleplaying communities exist because people started to cooperate, not by insulting each other and trying to be as rude and offensive as the moderators will allow.

Basically, there have been a barrage of posts seemingly designed to see how far the moderators can be pushed before they snap.
It's like when kiddies test their parents to see how much they can get away with. It's pretty pathetic.

Actually as far as I can see people at poking fun at the moderators because they know they're going to get a reaction. The mods have all shown that they take everything far, far to seriously, so people are having a giggle at their expense.

There is not reason to post it on uoforums and being that I am one of the mods it would stay up as I find it amuseing. but in this case I find it appropriate.

If your going to insult/windup/push to see how far mods/admins will go and recieve a warning and whine about it. Then, well, dont bother wasting the time. If your going to complain about mods closing threads that are there, solely to provoke an arguement, save your keyboard.

EVEN more so, if your next thread is to complain about a warning you recieved alongside insulting the warning mod/admin. I'm not overly fussed about what topics go up on these forums as long as they're done in a mature, decently worded and decently mannered way. Which, does include believe it or not, withholding such petty insults. K?

As stated previously, we dont force you to post here. But, we can and now do, happily remove insults, provocation and if it gets to the point of purposely doing so, warn those people doing it. Any problems, read the house rules. Tells you how to deal with the problems. If people cant do that, sorry, but we aint here to hold your hand
