This aint a discussion thread, dont need ya's on my ass about not learning my lesson but someone's taken my account and changed the password this time - so I wont be on UO for a while.. I'm not even sure if it's worth me making a new account in all honesty. I'll be giving it some serious thought but no promises. Erm, those involved in the civil war business, good luck tonight, I'm sure you can do it without me heh.

It says in beckys mass that they got your MSN account also? Are you sure no one else has access to your computer where you live or a friend perhaps?

I doubt anyone's going to leap on you about "not learning your lesson".
For one thing, there's nothing to say that "the lesson" was actually taught. sounds like you got a pretty hefty security breach, because UO and ICQ were hit last time, and UO and MSN this time.

I'm pretty sure I speak for a bunch of people, when I say I don't want to see you not bounce back from this.
And, the usual "if there's anything you need"...

If you contact EA customer support, they should be able to help you. It may be a bit late, but they can freeze access to your account, to prevent them doing harm to it.
In any case, check your system for viruses and spyware. Change passwords, and give a shout if folk who know stuff, about checking security on your computer/network (if it's wireless, could be unsecured?)

It's not that I want to quit, I just find it hard to motivate myself to make a new account (or if I manage to reclaim my old one) and spend the time and effort into training up a new character (depending on the situation of my characters) just to lose it all again. Fair dues, EA are helping best they can to get the account back to me so not all is lost.

While you wait for their help you might want to get your computer wiped, can be done in a few minutes at a computer shop, that'll ensure it won't happen again.

For future reference don't click any links with .cn in as they're likely keyloggers.

I was actually referring to the hacking problem rather then the child porn stuff and you probably think i have no sense of humor but being a mother of two children i do take offense to this comment.
