Yes - that. And the notion that the "we" only refers to the guild you are in, and not "the others". When the truth of the matter is - no rp guild can survive long on it`s own without others to interact with. To have a we in that sense you need others as well.
The "we" I am referring to is all guilds in the war ring. And I am hoping all are sensible and wise enough to understand that it is not a matter of a "win or lose" for your own guild. A short term victory and damn the rest. I know some aren`t, I fully expect many never to understand.
Europa as a rp community was always divided into small fractions. Erpa there, then Core/erpa and Coy over there. Then Core and coy. Just look at this board, there is a similar board over at UOforums. Not even that could this community agree on. Tsk. And through it all there were OOC conflicts between guilds, between members, between GMs. Looking back it is amazing it still lives on.
I do not see through rosy tint glasses. I do know some of these problems still exists and rears it`s ugly head. My hope is that it only shows up occasionally, and that all can communicate sensibly and with this notion that "we" are all of us. That the perspective is not only "your" guild but the community as a whole.
Yeah I know. Being sensible? On Europa?
