RP experience - Seven years in many different RP guilds. Most recent is Van Cocidius of The Vesper Trading Company.

PvP experience - VTC has always aided -V- in their battles, so I've taken part in them. Also used to pvp in felucca 3 or 4 years back, but all my knowing of that is well dead.

Character background - As a sole child of a noble family, she had an upbringing that was not far from being an orphan. she had nannies, tutors, and maids, rather than siblings, parents, and friends. As a result, she swings between moments of almost spoiled or petulant impetuousness and the need to seek approval from authority figures.

When she reached the age of eighteen, her father, a nobleman of Haven, offered to teach her daughter the arts of archery. She's now twenty-eight and feels she hasn't improved much, some field experience is in order. Her father told her the city of Trinsic is always looking for more guards to protect the big walls around the city. With this she wrote her application form and sent it off, hoping, wishing, for the opportunity of a lifetime.

Character Background: Av'enier was once a ranger of Yew, he practiced with his bow religiously, then one fateful day he was called upon to assist the townsfolk of Papua to fight back the waves of orphidians that were invading the settlement. It was here that he took command of a small group of villagers and trained them to be precise and deadly with the bow and arrow. Men were hurt and lying injured, through noble and valiant efforts Av'enier was soon to get them back on thier feet ready for the next oncoming of opponents. Months past and so did the waves of enemies falling beneath a hail of arrows. Then the attacks died down, the orphidians retreated eventually and Av'enier left the lost hands with earned honor and trust. But upon arriving home in yew he was soon to discover that a new enemy had settled there, A strict militia, driving the Elven kind from the land. Now left a wanderer without a home, he has arrived in Trinsic willing to offer his aid to the towns noble cause and in return seeks nothing more than a room to sleep in.

Dosei is a daemon.
Following the defeat of the daemons at Magincia, she was set the task of learning what she could about the defeat, from the victors, so that it could be avoided in future.
Disguised as Kendra (who had been lost through the rift), she was "rescued" and taken to Trinsic. As time passed, her priorities changed, and she grew quite attached to life in Trinsic.

Character background:

Val are a young woman that was abandoned as an infant. She never learned to know her parents but was well taken care of by the white mages in Luna where she had been left just outside the inn. Over the years she showed a natural talent with chivalry. She was lesser versed with a sword but her belief that following the path of the virtues was showing her potential as a Paladin.

Character background -

Erik grew up in Vesper, his father was a local blacksmith and his mother was a loyal wife, who raised Erik and his two older brothers, Ludwik and Fredrik. When Ludwik and Fredrik came of age, things started changing in Vesper, they decided to head out, to try and find a better place to live and work. This was bad timing as the Vesper army started ruling with an iron fist, and Erik's dad started having problems with money, he took out a loan from the army and the repayments were too much for him to handle. In the end they came. Erik was hiding in his wardrobe, just a boy of fifteen, he heard the screams from his mother and the shouts from his father. When he felt it was safe he looked around his house where he found the head of his father. His mother was no where to be found either, to this day he has not see her since that day, in memory Erik refuses to cut his hair till he finds out what happened to her.

Following that day Erik knew he had to get out of Vesper and meet up with his brothers. So he grabed a few bits from his father's shop and set out in the world. He searched for years and was unable to find a trace of them, had the Vesperian's got to them too? He had to work something out, what of the other people this thing could of happened to? He must stop this, he must fight!

Erik headed to Britain, joined the local guard forces and learnt how the fight. However the guards started disappearing and he was soon left alone in Britain.

He then decided that he must find his brothers and set off yet again to find them. This time he was successful in his search and he was re-united. Safe in the knowledge that his brother Ludwik had started to settle in Cove and his brother Fredrik seemed happy in Minoc, he headed back to Trinsic where he had remember their guard force.

They stood up for the virtues of the land and wanted to be part of it as he vowed he would. So he applied to join this loyal force.

Heartwood from born till 12, Family moves to the outskirts of Zento, picking up some of her fashion and additude of peacefulness. 23 travels from Zento, at 24 while staying at Trinsic meets other elves and start appreciating the city and spending alot of time in the elven quarter trying to pick up the culture she once forgot. Compassion was the virtue her parents have tried to teach her and the one she holds closest to her.

Character background: Niall is a shepherd from the mountains between Yew and Skara Brae. He has, to date, had little contact with people and knows little of the ways of the world, and of the city. Still, following the tales he has heard from the few people he has met, he sold off most of his flock, slaughtered the rest and headed off to Trinsic in hopes of joining the guard and finding glory of his own.

Having had some time to entertain himself, he knows how to play the lute quite well, and knows enough about fighting with a dagger or a pitchfork in order to defend his flocks against wolves or ogres.

Playing times: (mon-fri) Evenings, (Sat-Sun) Varies. I work full time, plus raise 2 small boys, run the household, and take care of numerous cats and dogs.

RP experience: Very limited on UO. A few friends and I tried to join the RP community on great lakes…regretfully they seem to be either lacking in strong leadership, organization, or motivation. Most of my roll playing experience comes from actual D&D, wonderful game, but doesn’t leave you anyone to verify my RP skills with.

PvP experience: None. PvP is an aspect of UO I’ve never really had the time to really get into, however, is something I’m willing to learn. The downside to this, I have a lot to learn, the upside, I don’t have any bad habits to unlearn.

Character background As full a story as possible please

At this point, honestly I can’t give you much of an actual background, but plenty of her basic personality. In light of UO actually adding the elven race, she naturally came from Heartwood. In classic D&D style, she is a Moon elf, the very same elves that feel it’s their job to be protectors of all that is good and defenders of evil, and having viewed their job as finished, stopped interacting with the outside world some time ago. That didn’t set very well with Vera though, she’s still rather young by elven standards, not yet even two centeries old. She wasn’t around when her people “finished their job and rid the world of evil”, and thus, promptly set out on her own leaving Heartwood to see the outside world for herself and if “evil” was really gone. She quickly learned that evil was very much active and present in the world once again, yet this news fell on deaf ears when she went back home. (granted, there are a lot of elves running around in the game now, but, as Vera is very new to the shard, she doesn’t know them, so obviously they don’t come from the same little elven community. And sure she has parents, but, unless I decide to write a story about them and her childhood, and it would be a pretty boring story indeed as nothing noteworthy really happened until she decided to leave, I haven’t found the need to really give them names yet, or personality, or anything for that matter. I want to play out Vera’s story, and want to start out with as clean a slate as possible so that she can be developed through actual RP.)

Though she doesn’t really mean to, Vera has the classic superior attitude of the elven race. The “outside” world is still very new to her, so she is currently cautious while she learns the land, and the basic laws and rules of the land. While she’s openly friendly, and tries to be polite to everyone she meets, she’s not necessarily trusting, or willing to give up information about herself.

The one friend she has made thus far is a Human by the name of Michael Hawk. While out exploring, she ran into a bit of trouble in Covetous with Elder Gazors (blasted magic users!) and Michael gallantly came to her rescue when he saw her in trouble, almost getting himself killed in the process. It is true that Elves do not take friendship lightly, nor do they necessarily make friends easily, and Vera is no exception. But in Michael, she saw a kindred spirit, and a fellow defender of good, and they became fast friends from that point on, even if they don’t quite always understand each other and their ways.

And this concludes what I’ve developed for Vera thus far. The rest I’d rather act out in game and see where things go, and what plots and stories can be thought up from here.

RP experience: Played UO for going on ten years always as an RPer. Been a GM in several guilds (Forever of Virtue on Napa, where I met Niall as a part of the same town, GM of Rose on Catskills currently, was on the Directions board for Shadowclan, Seige, Marrach Faol on Napa where I climbed ranks to Ducal Guard, but sadly there were few RPers in that guild, though I had a great time leading hunts and a weekly fighting competition called "the Naked Bar Brawl") Other various table top games for many years including D&D, AD&D, Palladium, Star Wars (table top not MMORPG) some white wolf, paranoia...and prolly some others in there...oh and some acting as a voice major/theater minor in college.Yeah, Im a geek.

PvP experience: Shadowclan Seige, other various guilds and clans on Napa and Catskills (one of my personal favorites being the all newbie guild "AMV on Napa- or "Angry Mob of Villagers" who would go into towns and protest the witches and others, attack with torches, pitchforks and sewing needles...then end up dead at everyones feet- but never to excess cause that would be greifing, and that's no fun for anyone!) Maddy arrived in Trinsic a bit over 8 months ago with no memories of her past, save for herbal/healing knowledge and the occasional flashback which is usually quickly dismissed. She's building a new life in these lands after apparently being hit over the head very hard, thus we assume, the loss of her memories. After a stay with the Knights of Virtue, she has returned to Trinsic after their disappearance. She is a believer in Virtues, feeling Compassion the strongest.(and upon occasion Justice takes over. She is a red-head and hot tempered when her ire is raised.) She is most comfortable in the woods, and until recently, spent much of her time alone wandering in them. She spends a lot of time now in Vesper, teaching them Virtue by example - and being corrupted most likely, having fallen madly and passionately in love with the Baron, which will probably be her doom.
