According to the Compentium Daemonica by Relvinian in Moonglow Lycaeum
the Daemon is of many sorts and types not all of which seek to bring harm
onto those that seek to bring them forth As Relvinian writes in his work there can be types that serve well and magerly/mannerly(?) when summoned to this realm and bring forth great knowledge to HIM(3) who uttered the call
Here we seek to bring forth a demon of the forest to impart his knowledge
on us for long is the life of tree and plant and all creatures which connect
with them and share such knowledge As is known such daemons are
peaceful of mind and spirit wishing no harm to those that would bring
them forth from their realms

No, they are no "real" spells;

I think it´s to call the wood spirit (living plant), not sure about the flame-death, and a lot of energy to power the ritual.

Antar suggested that "chis" may actually be "wis", so raise magic (being of) great wisdom

I really need help with this hopefully someone can come up with ideas for this or any of the other parts of the scroll (top left, bottom left).

Maybe that is short for both?

And if its fully underlined then maybe that means the points are connected rather than seperate points?

*nods to Iljan* Thanks for your contribution. My thoughts were going in the same direction.

But these symbols are there to give us locations on the circle (see pics), so what location would that be?
We know there are the six points of the star, and six fields between the star and the circle.
The lines of the star and the circle are, as far as we know, not used, they are "conduits" of magical energy. Also there is no line between |M and P| in the six-pointed star (yet the symbol is used).

I thought the underlined symbols might mark the fields between the points, but M
and |M //\ M| don´t quite fit in there?

|M, //\ and M| are the "top" three points of the star, there are two fields between them, but then both M and |M //\ M| would be the same.
It makes sense, but i doubt two sets of symbols, one of them more complicated, would be used for the same two fields (?).
